The 600e is an E-Series compatible version of the ever-popular 600w HPS Pro Fixture. With the inclusion of an RJ 14 socket, you can connect it to a Gavita Master Controller and experience the benefits of centrally controlled lighting – no more contactors and timers, and a ton of new features! Even without a Master Controller, the 600e offers additional functionality over the standard model, running at output levels of 300w, 400w, 500w, 600w or 660w – allowing you to tailor lighting to your environmental conditions.

The 600e is a Master Controller compatible version of the classic 600w Gavita Pro. Unlike the original model, the 600e comes with 300w, 400w, 500w, 600w and 660w output settings, as well as an ‘ext’ setting for when you want to use it with your Master Controller. Connecting to the Master Controller itself has been made as quick and easy as possible, and is effectively ‘plug and play’. You can then take advantage of the Master Controller’s range of features.

400 Volt HPS Pro lamps are more efficient than standard HPS lamps. Both consume the same power and therefore cost exactly the same to run, but Pro lamps run at a higher voltage and a lower current. 400 Volt Pro HPS lamps produce more light for the same power consumption and will give at least 10% higher yield compared to even the best standard HPS systems. In fact, when they are seen side-by-side, the HPS Pro lamps are noticeably brighter, run cooler and the light they produce is slightly whiter. So in addition to them giving a higher yield, plants grown under a 400 Volt Pro HPS are healthier, happier and are at less risk of heat damage, too.

UK mains power (230 Volts) is fed to the ballast via a standard mains lead. The specialised ballast then converts the mains electricity to drive the 400 Volt / 600 Watt lamp. The distance from the ballast to the lamp is very short, meaning that virtually no power is lost through the connecting cable, while eliminating the risk of electromagnetic interference. The reflector has been especially designed to give a superbly even light spread despite its small size. The surface of the reflector has one of the best coatings available and gives at least 95% reflectivity.
