Maxibright Daylight LED 200w / 300w Grow Lights

Following on from the success of the fantastic Daylight 660w LED Grow Light, Maxibright have now introduced 2 different versions for smaller size grow tents and grow spaces. These smaller units are still based on the philosophy that the very best coverage is achieved when a grow light fits over a large area above the canopy. If you have a 1m x 1m or 0.8m x 0.8m grow tent then these are the perfect solution for the best in LED grow lighting, giving great.yields and extremely high quality produce.

 
How the Maxibright Daylight 200w/300w LED Grow Light worksOur customers’ feedback is that the original Maxibright Daylight 660w LED Grow Light is superb. The layout of the unit has proved the theory that the best light coverage is achieved by spreading LEDs out above the whole grow space area. The 660w version is designed for a 1.2m x 1.2m grow tent. However, not everyone wants to have a grow of that size. Also, some growers might want a smaller tent for vegging plants or for keeping a mother plant. In order to cater for smaller grow tents, Maxibright have designed 2 smaller models. One is a 200w version designed for a 0.6m to 0.8m square grow tent. The other is designed for a 0.8 to 1m square grow tent.
 
Most of the Lumled LEDs produce full spectrum light while a few others add some extra red and some far red into the equation. Far Red light can stimulate the plant to go into flowering quicker after the changeover to 12/12 and can even shorten the flowering period. It can also stimulate greater production of terpenes, essential oils and medicinal compounds.

 
All the LEDs are very high quality and very efficient meaning you get more light per watt and less wasted heat. The spread, the spectrum and the efficiency all come together and combine to ensure that you’ll get great yields of excellent quality.

 
Both of the units have 5 power settings – 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% so you can reduce the power down

 
How to use the Maxibright Daylight 200w or 300w LED Grow Lights
For the very best results, match the version to your size of grow tent. Use the 200w version for a 0.6m to 0.8m square grow tent or the 300w version for a 0.8 to 1m square grow tent.

 
Hang the unit in your grow tent above the plant canopy using the eyelets on the ballast. It is usually best to start off high and lowering it down a bit each day over a period of a week or 2. This avoids the possibility of causing any plant stress. Alternatively the units can be dimmed with the switch on the unit.
