The Gavita ECM1 is an external contactor module, designed to add extra features to the Gavita EL2 Master Controller. When connected, the ECM1 can be used to switch on and off a host of auxiliary equipment during lights on and lights off periods, taking growrrom automation to the next level.

 
How the Gavita ECM1 Works

The ECM1 you can extend the functionality of your Gavita EL2 Master Controller to switch auxiliary equipment, such as heaters, dehumidifiers, CO2 equipment, water pumps and extra circulation fans on or off during your plants day or night lighting hours. This helps to keep variables such as temperature and humidity stable in your grow room at all times, more stabilty promotes happier plants with better yeilds.

 
Your Gavita EL2 Master Controller governs your ECM and features a shut-off safety protocol in case of overload. The Gavita EL2 Master Controller also has two outputs for optional External Contactor Modules (ECMs). These industry grade contactor units can switch a load up to 15 amps of accessories. ECMs are steered by a low voltage signal you can even locate them close to the accessories themselves, making ECMs easy and quick to install.

 
How to Use the Gavita ECM1

Simply connect the Gavita ECM1 to your Gavita Master Controller and cycle through the menu options to attach the piece of auxiliary equipment you require. Once connected, you can then set the time you wish for the auxiliary equipment to be activated and discontinued.
