Adjust-A-Wings reflectors are customer favourites at One Stop! They’re designed to provide a greater level of control over your lighting footprint, allowing you to direct light outwards in multiple directions, while getting your lamp closer to your plants. The Hellion takes this much-loved concept and improves on it by adding the most efficient form of HPS technology available: a 750w 400v double-ended lighting system.

Choose Between the Defender or Avenger Reflector:
Defender

The solid and dependable Defender has a ‘titanium white’ heat-resistant powder-coating that was selected for its ability to diffuse light, creating a particularly even spread and a reflectivity level of 92%.

It’s manufactured from H18 aluminium alloy (3% magnesium), which gives it strong, springy characteristics. This springiness creates perfect parabolic curves, while making the unit highly resistant to stress. Great for tougher environments.

Avenger

The Avenger is the stand-out reflector in the Adjust-A-Wings range, designed for connoisseur growers who demand the very best. Years of testing and development went into the manufacturing process used to create its super-reflective surface. The Avenger is vapour coated with molten glass and titanium dioxide, and is also PVD / ceramic coated to give it a true 95-97% reflectivity level. This a One Stop customer favourite for a very good reason!

How the Hellion Grow Light Kit Works:
The Hellion has been designed from the ground-up for use in regular grow rooms, where height levels are more of a pressing concern. Depending on the wing and lamp-height settings, the Hellion can be mounted as low as 45cm from the top of the canopy, delivering superb light penetration without causing unwanted leaf burn! The Hellion ballast is equipped with three output settings: 450w, 600w and 750w, allowing you to tailor your lighting output to your growroom conditions. If temperatures in your grow room get too high, just reduce your lighting output accordingly and you’ll keep your plants growing sweetly.

Adjust-A-Wings reflectors come with 3 width settings, and 5 lamp height settings. The further you move the lamp holder up into the reflector, the more the you’ll direct light downwards. Also, the wider you open the wings up, the more you’ll naturally spread light outwards and allow heat to disperse. This helps you to get your lamp and reflector much closer to your plants. Light intensity is proportionate to distance, so this makes for a much more efficient use of energy, helping you to get the best value for money from your electricity, while increasing yields.

You can run this system with the ballast attached as a complete fixture, or you can use it with the ballast mounted separately. This is a useful option if heat is a particularly pressing issue, allowing you to keep your ballasts – and the heat that they generate – outside the grow area.

How to Use the Hellion Grow Light Kit:

Please see below for a copy of the Hellion assembly instructions. You’ll need to join the reflector wings, attach the lamp holder, connect the hanging bracket and ballast, and you’re done. It’s a simple process that can be replicated in five minutes once you’re familiar it.
